Conjured, summoned, or just descended from the stars, these strange aliens are colourful humanoids with button-like eyes, pointed heads in rainbow stripes, topped by a plump red star. They have black heads, swollen feet and fingerless hands, and are always smiling: this, together with their wide-set eyes, gives them a mad, bemused look.
For some reason the only words in the Common Tongue they know are “Take me to your leader”, which they proclaim to all they meet. No naturally hostile, they will fight back if attacked or threatened, first by dazzling their opponents, then by pulverising them with their hidden heat rays.
The aliens seek out the leaders of men, whisking them away in their space-bubbles, to their own leaders, to discuss trade and the like.
