Part of the September challenge.
Tombs of the Naruth
Room Seven: Hall of Choosing
Accessed via the door in room six.
This long corridor is where the faithful passed the tests to confirm their faith, for their ultimate transformation.
First Impressions
A long corridor with three doors: one of each side wall, one at the far end. The room is dry, with the flagstones engraved with images of eyes both open and sewn-shut.
Further Observations
The three doors are all stone, each bearing an icon imprinted on the doors in silver lines: the door to room 8 bears the image of a rising flame; the door to room 9 shows a circle, one coloured black, the other white; the last door, to room 12 shows a tentacled blob. This last door is locked, the others easily opened.
What’s Inside
The door to room 12 can only be unlocked by pulling the lever in room 10. It has no obvious lock to pick, although magical means may be used to open or bypass it.
More tomorrow.
