“A dynamic lair is a small dungeon or lair, created in advance like a point of interest, which includes 1-3 encounters.” ACKS page 236.
Continuing the series of Dynamic Lairs. Last week was the Bat; this week, it is Bears. There are four types of bears listed, so I’ll deal with them all.
The Bear Necessities
Black Bear Woods
A wooded hill is home to a solitary Black Bear, who has recently lost its cub to hunters.

The Grizzled One
A shallow cave is the lair of a den of Grizzly Bears that are a family, the cub now fully grown and soon off to find its own mate.
Bear, Grizzly x 3 [AC 3, Move 120' (40'), HD 5, hps 33, 26, 26, #ATS 3 (2 claws, bite), Dmg 1d4/1d4/1d8, SV F2, ML 0, AL N, XP 200; if both claws hits, bear hug for 2d8; ACKS page 155].
Cave Dweller
A den of Cave Bears is occupying a deep cave, strewn with bones. They are a mated pair and the female is pregnant.

Igloo of White Death
A partially collapsed igloo has become the den to a pair of mated Polar Bears, who are highly aggressive and defend their new home. Both are hungry, having failed to catch anything in the past two days.
Bear, Polar x 2 [AC 4, Move 120' (40') HD 7, hps 19, 24, #ATS 3 (2 claws, bite), Dmg 1d8/1d8/2d6, SV F3, ML +1, AL N, XP 440; if both claws hit, bear hug for 2d8; ACKS page 155].
