<image:title>RPG Products - Adventures</image:title>
<image:caption>Several leagues off the main road is a portal to the realm of fairy; a ring of standing stones resting in a clearing surrounded by ancient trees. Once a year, from the full moon to the next full moon, this portal opens and allows the fairies to cross over, to wreck havoc and cause mischief in the mortal realm. This adventure pits the characters against a group of mischievous fairies, who raid the inn the characters (henceforth, the Party)are staying at and steal the goods of a wealthy trader. The trader hires the Party to track the thieves down and recover his goods, and awards them handsomely to do so.</image:caption>

<image:title>RPG Products - Adventures</image:title>
<image:caption>Ravenmere is a small village situated between the market towns of Appleby and Cricklewood, and once supplied both with cattle and the odd sheep. Today the village has been isolated by the local lord, for a plague has come to Ravenmere and all of its villagers are dead by their own hands. What will bold aventurers discover in the isolated village? This is what I like to call an Adventure Site, a location-based adventure that can be easily slotted into an exisitng setting with a minimum of fuss. Revised Version: includes added maps and content, improved layout and (for the PDF) added bookmarks.</image:caption>

<image:title>RPG Products - Adventures</image:title>
<image:caption>The Spire. A towering edifice a mile high and nearly a third wide at its base. This conical spike pierces the fertile soil of a small valley, standing before a narrow pass that cuts through the Perilous Mountains. From a distance the Spire is as black as night, but upon close inspection it is made of dark volcanic glass, seamless. Openings lead inside, to dark levels that rise high, stretching from its Roots and the obsidian tunnels that criss- cross underground, to an interior garden and woodland. Higher still are levels where water is collected from rainfall, feeding a waterfall that waters the woods inside; excess rainfall cascades down the sides of the Spire, pooling around its base to form a small lake and a river that flows down through a gully below. The Spire is a system-neutral setting/dungeon and settlement set in and around a cone of obsidian that holds dungeon levels reaching up into the sky. This 168-page PDF/book contains an overview of the setting, details of the town and key buildings, details of the Spire itself and the thirteen levels that make up its structure, and notes on factions within the dungeon and town. Most locations are on two-page spreads, one page holding the map, the other the map text. Some go over several pages, usually 'tables' of loot, information, interesting characters.</image:caption>

<image:caption>From the imagination of designer and cartographer Simon Forster, creator of the Book of Lairs and the popular OSR blog Sky Full of Dust, comes a new adventure for characters levels 5-7. Two hundred years ago, the elven capital of Cyfandir fell to the savage assault of the Great Dragon Aisoth, self-proclaimed goddess and sovereign of the lizardmen who followed in her wake. The elves, occupied with the Argollëan War, were unprepared for the attack and the city fell swiftly. The elven residents fled, many dying at the claws and teeth of the lizardmen who waited in ambush in the forest. Now the city lies in ruins, its walls crumbled and alabaster towers fallen to rubble, and the forest is crawling across its streets. Ivy and moss cover the walls of once-pristine buildings, and piles of rubble mark the passage of the dragon. Only the majestic and imposing Great Hall still carries its ancient grandeur. It is there that the Great Dragon makes her lair, sleeping atop the a treasure trove of elven coins, jewels, and artifacts. Only the bravest adventurers will dare to plunder the ruins of Cyfandir… AX4: Ruined City of Cyfandir (ROC) is a ready-to-play adventure scenario presented for use with the Adventurer Conqueror King System™ (ACKS) and other d20-based fantasy role-playing games. Explore the vast ruined city of Cyfandir and discover the secrets of the fallen kingdom of the elves. All maps in the adventure are provided in hi-resolution format as individual downloads for easy use online.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cyfaraun is a city of ancient lineage. The name itself is an Auran corruption of its original elven name, Cyfarawn. Evidence of elven construction is still visible in the city’s oldest district, today called Old Cyfaraun. Many city residents know that Old Cyfaraun was founded atop an earlier settlement – Ancient Cyfaraun, buried by cataclysmic ashes over 500 years ago. Only the most illustrious sages are aware that the Ancient City was itself built over an even deeper ruin, a Forgotten Cyfaraun, a city brought low by an earthquake almost 2,000 years ago. Forgotten Cyfaraun was reduced to rubble but its lasting legacy is a hidden Nethercity, a treacherous place of twisting tunnels, dusty catacombs, and black, volcanic caves that waits, forgotten and unplumbed - until now… AX2: Secrets of the Nethercity™ (SOTN) is a ready-to-play adventure scenario presented for use with the Adventurer Conqueror King System™ (ACKS) and other d20-based fantasy role-playing games. Explore the impossibly complex warrens of the Nethercity and discover the horrific truth of the ancient empire that ruled the realm. Designed to carry characters from 3rd to 8th level of experience. Again, I drew some maps for this book.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Book of Lairs: Urban Encounters is a collection of 25 lairs in an urban environment, with full-colour maps, map details and monster statistics. It uses the Adventurer, Conqueror, King System (ACKS) for its mechanics, but is easily adapted to other games. Most of the content is system-neutral. It uses monsters from ACKS, Teratic Tome, Monstrosities, and The Tome of Horror Complete. Also included are two new monsters, both brilliantly illustrated by Gennifer Bone (check out her website and Patreon site: https://onwingsofink.blogspot.co.uk/, &, https://www.patreon.com/ladyredfingers/posts).</image:caption>

<image:caption>The vale sits between two mountains that border the rolling hills and plains of the Desolation, and is the source of the Bitter Ice River that flows through that land of lost empires. The Vale itself is said to hold the living corpse of the Iron God, the very deity that wiped out the Lost Empires. Many bold (some say foolish) adventurers have come to this vale to seek their fortunes, but few have returned. Those that did spoke of caves where monsters dwelt, strange ruins, and of the dangers of the tomb of the Iron God; but these men and women also brought out gold and jewels and wondrous artefacts, and their successes continue to draw others to the Vale of the Iron God. The Vale of the Iron God is the third Book of Lairs, containing ten lairs/dungeons filled with monsters and treasure compatible with most OSR-styled fantasy games, but specifically designed for the Adventurer, Conqueror, King System (ACKS).</image:caption>

<image:caption>For my fourth Book of Lairs (Abandoned Places) this collection of lairs consists of two-page spreads of maps and text, with monsters taken from the Adventurer, Conqueror, King System (ACKS) core book and the Lairs & Encounters book; but it is compatible with other old-school fantasy games with hardly any effort. This book is themed, with each lair being abandoned by its former occupants and taken as the lair of some other creature or creatures.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This is my fifth Book of Lairs: People & Places, written with the Adventurer, Conqueror, King System in mind, but easily compatible with other similar old school fantasy RPGs. This book has ten 'lairs' and the NPCs that inhabit each, again on two-spreads: a double-page for the usual map/lair combination, and another double-page covering the NPCs and whatever treasure can be found. I have used stock art by William McAusland, and a bit of my own (much poorer) efforts. You can tell which ones I did.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Book of Lairs: Desolation is the sixth and penultimate book in the Book of Lairs series. This book consists of twelve lairs spread over two or more spreads, each with an accompanying map or two. Each lair is mapped on to an area known as the Desolation, shown on the centre-spread of the book, but each lair is also themed (albeit loosely in some cases) on desolation, either by terrain, location, or situation. All lairs can be quite easily placed in an on-going campaign; jus drop them into a wilderness location and you're ready to go. It reintroduces the Quiet Ones, a monster that first appeared in my first Book of Lairs, and uses monsters from the ACKS: Lairs & Encounters book, as well as core monsters from the core Adventurer, Conqueror, King System (ACKS) rulebook; this book uses that game as its ruleset, although it is easily compatible with other fantasy games.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This is the seventh and final Book of Lairs, a series of lairs and maps that I started back in 2015. As with my previous books, this is a lair and map combination, spread across (mostly) a two-page spread, with each lair set in a dungeon. These are tiles that can be combined to create random dungeon complexes, by the roll of some dice.</image:caption>
