Electric Bastionland: Worms and Zombies

Here is our latest gossip on events in the Buttermilk Borough of the ongoing Bastionland game: Since the last one, the treasure-hunters (or vagabonds as they’ve become know in the gossip rags) have stolen a bull from a farm in the Deep Country, paid a visit to the Painted Chimney to procure some oddities (a goo-bomb that coats targets in a jelly-baby blob; a zane star shuriken that freezes its target; glow-in-the-dark paint; and some spider-climbing gloves), and rescued a

Electric Bastionland: Merman Trouble

I’m not going to do my usual long-winded breakdown of the sessions; instead I’m going to be producing newspaper articles based on events and adding a bit of gossip and potential hooks. By the end there’ll be a full newspaper of events. Here’s the first: The characters rolled had the following stats/Failed Careers

Forgotten Factories: an Electric Bastion Borough

So, I’ve got a copy of Electric Bastion by Chris McDowall (website), and I’ve been enjoying reading it immensely. Full of interesting stuff and a great guide for running a game. The rules are simple, the failed careers (sort of like classes) are inspired, and the notes for creating your own boroughs etc. are nice and easy to follow. So easy, I put a borough together. This is Buttermilk Borough, the Forgotten Factories, a district of abandoned and repurposed factories,
